The northern border province of Cao Bang will get its first foreign-invested tourism project in the form of a US$7 million hotel and casino. The project will include a 60-room hotel, mini villas, and a casino equipped with slot machines. The project is a joint venture between the He Huang Financial Consultancy Company of Macau and the local Phu Hung Company and was granted approval from the Planning and Investment Ministry last week. Construction of the project will start in December and the hotel is expected to open in August 2004. |
